Jolie Rocke Brown, soprano, is featured as herself in the German documentary “Porgy & Me” produced by BoomTown Media and viewing in German theaters through April 2010. Ms. Rocke Brown toured in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Italy and the Netherlands with the New York Harlem Theater, where she performed the role of Clara in Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess at various theaters, among them the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, Stadttheater Fürth, and the Carre, Amsterdam. She also covered the same role with the prestigious Théâtre national de l'opéra-comique in Paris, France in June 2008.
